A back in time place

You will be seduced by the authenticity of this place, his quietness, his panoramic view. This little 13rd century castle is located in one of the smallest villages of the area. A bedroom and a big livingroom are the accomodations included in the price. 2 folded beds for children can be added in the living room. Your stay in this uncommon, authentic, rustic place will be unforgetable : if you ever had dreamt in sleeping in a medieval tower, you can here live your dream ! This manor house was a former XIIIth century fortress. Since 800 years, it has been modified and it's still in restoration. We are history enthusiasts and re-enactors. We are trying to recreate the ancient atmosphere of this little castle by using natural materials and original or copies decoratives items. We hold in place as much as possible the historical elements : so don't expect to find a 4/5 stars hotel accomodations ! But you'll certainly find the sensation of time travelling ! Located in Burgundy in one of the smallest Côte d'Or's villages, you will really dive in mother nature by being awaken with birds singing, wind caressing you when you are sitting contemplating the river panorama, maybe thrilling because of the falcon cries, owls ululations, bat flies or......tricks from our ghosts ! Peaceful atmosphere with candles light will help you to find a total rest (no electricity in the bedroom) or being hypnotized by the chimney's fire in our main room. We could set up a warm bath with bewitching scents (common bathroom) if you wish. As we are also taking care of our environment (natural materials, no chemical paintings or varnish), we use dry toilets (one private in the livingroom). We can help to you for your touristic visit.
