Gateway to the Lake District and Scotland with Hadrian's Wall & historic Carlisle nearby is this peaceful country style home situated in a rural location is all you will need for a relaxing holiday. Longtown is located approximately 2 miles away with a SPAR supermarket and petrol station. The Graham Arms bar and restaurant serves food daily. Also, there are Chinese, Indian, Pizza, Kebab takeaways and a renowned Fish & Chip shop. Plenty to cater for most tastes. Open-plan living, comprising a fully fitted kitchen, dining for 4 with two large sofas (inc. a sofa bed) to lounge area. The Master bedroom has an en-suite toilet with basin, the second bedroom has two single beds and there is a separate shower room. Camelot Holiday Park is a peaceful and small park with a combination of holiday and residential park homes. Close to the M6 with Carlisle City in easy reach, Gretna Green just round the corner and the Scottish Borders just 10 minutes drive away. Longtown is a 2 mile drive away with many amenties for a small town including a spar supermarket, boots the chemist, petrol station, a few pubs and eateries. Carlisle is a big city and has much to offer for all with lots of historical interest, I would say its a hidden gem! The Lake District is less than an hours drive in the most beautiful surroundings and the Scottish Border is within a 10 minute drive with a Reivers Tower being the first of many fasinating places of interest to visit. I unfortunately have had to start charging an additional £12 per stay to cover the cleaning products, toilet rolls and washing bed linen etc. We provide a small complimentary get you in pack of: Milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, sugar and Jam, just a little something to relax with after your journey.
