Enjoy the great outdoor area, where the kids will love playing on the lush lawn, complete with tree swing for hours of fun! Wainui Bay Getaway offers three generous bedrooms for up to six guests to rest their heads. The master features a comfortable queen-sized bed with an ensuite bathroom, while the other rooms are fitted with king single beds and a set of bunks. A family bathroom and washing machine complete the set up for your stay. On a hot summer's day, cool off with a dip in the clear, blue water at high tide across the road from Wainui Bay Getaway. Then as the tide heads out, have a ball on the long stretch of sand, perfect for a game of Kiwi beach cricket! If you fancy some fresh shellfish for dinner, you can harvest mussels and oysters around the rocks just a kilometre down the road. Or why not take the complimentary kayaks out for a paddle on the inlet and collect cockles. For adventures a bit further, take a plunge and soak up some sunshine at Wainui Bay Beach, lace up your shoes and take a walk in the Abel Tasman National Park, or take a guided kayaking tour out of Tata Beach. All these attractions are just a short drive from this Wainui Bay accommodation. Wainui Bay Getaway is just a 12-minute drive away from Pohara where you'll find the Pohara General Store, which also does takeaways, as well as three great restaurants and cafes ready to serve up some delicious fare and your daily coffee fix. The delightful Takaka Village is also only a 20-minute drive from your home away from home. Here you'll find cafes, crafts, galleries, an array of shops and conveniences, a skate park for the kids, and even a cinema! For a peaceful stay in a stunning location, Wainui Bay Getaway awaits! This is spacious 3 bedroom property. Please note, the bedding configuration for this property includes a Queen Bed in Bedroom 1, two King Single Beds in Bedroom 2 and a Single Bunk Bed in Bedroom 3. From our centralised support just a phone call away, to our local teams on the ground, we make sure we have you covered for whatever may come up. Please be aware there is no mobile phone reception or WiFi available at this property. It is possible to get reception a few kilometres back along Abel Tasman Drive. There are life-jackets available to use with the kayaks but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety. As there is a section of the deck without a barrier with a small drop on to grass, all guests should take care when using this area due to the risk of falls.
