Our modern, 2 level home, in the leafy suburb of Killarney Heights, is perfect for families. It's spacious, light and has a fenced back garden, with access to Garrigal National park. The house can cater for up to 5 adults or a family with children comfortably. The house is located in a quiet friendly cul de sac, walking distance to local cafe's, bakery and take-away/restaurants. Close to public transport to the city and Manly. Only 20 mins drive to Manly or Freshwater beaches. Our home is split over two levels, with open plan living, dining and kitchen on ground level. Bifold doors open to deck area with table and seating for 8, with a BBQ for entertaining. Toilet and laundry also on ground level. Up stairs are 4 bedrooms and a second living space (and study area) that leads out to a balcony overlooking the National Park. There is a main bathroom and the master bedroom has an en-suite. The accommodation allows for different sleep times for young children without the adults and kids disturbing each other! Our Bedroom setup is one king bedroom (master) with en-suite and built-in robe, a queen bedroom with built-ins, a single bedroom with bunk bed and built-in robe, and a single bedroom with a bed. Guests will have access to the entire house. We will be overseas during your stay, but will provide details of a local contact for emergencies! The neighbourhood is very friendly and has a great community feel. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy access to shops, cafe's, takeaways and public transport. Check public transport options here (Website hidden by Airbnb) Bus Routes - To get buses to the city or beaches you will need to make your way up to Forestville and catch from the top of Starkey Street/Warringah Road (also see map above). Bus Numbers; 270/271 will take you to the City/CBD. Bus Numbers: (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) will take you to Chatswood (there is a Westfield Shopping Centre here). Bus Numbers: 136 on the opposite side of the road (over the pedestrian bridge) will take you to Manly, via Dee Why. 280 on the opposite side of the road (over the pedestrian bridge) will take you to Manly, via Warringah Mall (Westfield Shopping Centre).. Taxi Numbers: 13 Cabs - Call (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Closest Train Station: Chatswood (T1 Northern Line). Please note, that whilst there is access to the national park from the back of the property, the main garden is fenced off and gates locked. Care should be taken to walk down the back of the garden, especially with children as access is through bushland and can be unstable. Parking is available at the top of the driveway. Please note that the driveway is fairly steep.
