150 year old village house on the Ring of Kerry.

Recently refurbished but old world charm remains. The Grove is a hundred and fifty years old. Once the post office, it sits in the village itself. Literally on the Ring of Kerry and also the walking trail, The Kerry Way. Minimum 5 day booking. Whole house. Glenbeigh is the perfect base for anyone who likes walking. There are a wide number of trails accessible from the house with no need for a car on the days that one wants to remain in the village. Absolutely gorgeous landscape, scenery, mountains, beaches, coastal drives. The village is on the Ring of Kerry, the Wild Atlantic Way and the Kerry Way walking trail. The Kerry Dark Skies Reserve begins in the adjacent village. It is an area of great beauty and variety, with valleys, mountains, lakes, cliff roads, beaches and islands. The boats to Skellig Michael (Unesco World Heritage Site and more recently location for Star Wars) leave from Portmagee, which is a 40 min scenic drive away on the Ring of Kerry. Walking trails, horseriding, golf course, bars, cafés, restaurants nearby. Kayaking and outdoors pursuits available in Cappanalea and Killarney. Best to rent a car or a bicycle as public transport is not very frequent. One bedroom and bathroom are downstairs should anyone have moderate mobility issues.
