Ty Newydd Cottage

Ty Newydd Cottage is a traditional miners cottage set in the village of Tynewydd in the beautiful Rhondda Valley. The cottage has recently been upgraded to include a new kitchen, bathroom and decoration throughout. It also includes a secure garden area and storage for bikes and other equipment. Situated at the foot of the Rhigos Mountain, it is a cosy and comfortable base to explore the stunning mountains and valleys. Zip World is 10 mins away, Brecon Beacons & Bike Park Wales about 35mins away. Bedroom 1 - double bed. Bedroom 2 - bunk beds (1 single and 1 small double). Both with adequate wardrobe space (hangers included) a chair and bedside drawers. Lounge - 2 comfy sofas, armchair and a smart TV. Fully fitted kitchen - fridge/freezer, cooker, hob, extractor fan, washing machine/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster. breakfast bar. Bathroom - bath, shower over bath and extractor fan. You have access to the whole house. There is on street parking (no restrictions) - but please be mindful of residents and park responsibly. It's a short walk to the local convenience store and take away and also Treherbert Train Station and bus stops. Available for questions and advice by telephone and text. The surrounding area is made up of quiet residential streets. Therefore guests are reminded to be respectful of neighbours in regard to noise and parking. Treherbert Train Station is within walking distance and there are regular local buses. Parties, loud music and general disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
