Close to Center City Philadelphia, Penn, Drexel, Villanova, Haverford, Swarthmore, regional hospitals, King of Prussia and many other points of interest. The home is one of several built by Charles Sheldrake in the 1930's. Made of stone quarried less than a mile away, the homes are works of art in and of themselves. Shared use of the kitchen, living and dining rooms. The room has a queen bed and the hall bath is your's exclusively. Good storage space with closet and dresser. 42" UHD TV with Cable/HBO/Showtime and Chromecast mounted on wall. Gigabit fibre optic internet via WiFi (or ethernet if needed). USB charging ports and a laptop workstation round out the amenities. Hall Bath, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Laundry (basement) My schedule varies, but I will do my best to be available to you at some point every day if needed. Quiet and mature residential neighbourhood with tree-lined streets. 2 block (8 minute) walk to the 110 Bus which brings you directly to the 69th St Transportation Center, and from there the rest of Philadelphia: Center City, Sports Arenas and Airport. 10 minute walk to the 101 trolley line which also connects through 69th St Transportation Center. Uber and Lyft services are readily available, and a trip to/from the airport or center city are moderately priced. Using ride-share from the airport is by far the quickest way to reach the house (15-20mins without traffic). Smoking is not allowed inside, but vaping is because at least one tenant has a medical cannabis license. Vaping is not allowed in shared spaces, and is generally not noticeable.
