Relax and unwind in the beautiful Warwickshire Countryside. Periwinkle Cottage is a charming and cosy 400 year old period cottage situated in the hamlet of Arrow. In close proximity to the town of Alcester, approximately 7 miles from historic Stratford Upon Avon and 17 miles from the City of Warwick. The cottage neighbours the stately home; Ragley Hall and is in close proximity to the Cotswolds. Comprising of two double bedrooms and spacious lounge. Stunning open views and quaint secluded rear garden with seating area. There are two allocated parking spaces. One adjacent to the cottage and one at the rear of the property opposite the second garage. The Roman town of Alcester is accessible on foot or a short drive, which offers a selection of pubs, shops and tearooms. There is a WI market every Friday morning in the town offering fresh produce, home baking and artisan gifts. There is also a choice of excellent restaurants and takeaways within walking distance of the town. Within 1 mile is the excellent Hillers Farm Shop, Gift Shop, Gardens and Restaurant. The cottage neighbours the stately home Ragley Hall which offers various ticketed events throughout the year and again is accessible on foot from the cottage. The cottage is ideally situated for walking, cycling and exploring Stratford Upon Avon, the Cotswolds, and Warwick with their wealth of Historic Houses. Excellent theatres can be found within a 20 minute drive in both Stratford Upon Avon and Redditch. This is a semi-rural location. Emergency phone number will be provided for genuine emergencies during stay. Situated in a small cluster of period cottages Unfortunately no pets can be accommodated as the property is unsuitable. A folder of local walks can be found in the cottage. Children and infants are welcome at the cottage; however there is no baby equipment such as highchairs, travel cots, sterilisers or stair gates available for use. You are however more than welcome to bring your own baby equipment for your stay. We cannot allow any drilling into the walls or potential damage to the wood beams throughout to attach stair gates - this is a safety concern you will have to consider for you and your family if bringing young children with you to stay. Deep and professional cleaning services in-between all guests stays to ensure your safety and comfort. Further precautions due to Covid-19 have been considered with all cleaning processes. This including the property being Fog Disinfected by machine as used in the NHS to sterilise the space in-between all guests. Prior to arrival a welcome email will be sent with additional information including the lockbox code, emergency numbers and parking arrangements.
