Ty Glas, Snowdonia

Ty Glas is a modern spacious take on a welsh cottage. We are 20 minutes from the coast, 10 minutes from Snowdon and 500m from Llyn Padarn. Our home will be your gateway to a quiet, comfortable Welsh stay. The bedroom: king size bed with a super comfortable mattress. Wardrobe space for hanging clothes. Bedside table and lamp. Comfortable chair. Informative books on the area as well as the local flora and fauna. The bathroom: one upstairs bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet, sink and lots of plants. One downstairs toilet with a toilet and sink. The kitchen: small fridge, dishwasher. Fully featured kitchen, no microwave. The dining room: large family table, wall mounted TV. The lounge: we'd like to keep this room private and ask you not to use it. If you'd like to watch TV there's one in the dining room and if you'd like to relax, there's a nice comfortable chair in your bedroom. Covid-19 info: we appreciate things are now different and we won't be offended if you want to stay seperate from us. If you're unsure about staying safe, please wear a face mask in the communal spaces. We've added cleaning products to your room for you. Any used crockery & cutlery will need to go straight in the dishwasher. You'll be sharing the house with us as we live here - I work from home so will be around to answer any questions about the area or give advice on where to go and what to do. Situated in the quiet village of Brynrefail, the house is in an amazing location to get out and explore Snowdonia. Our village is home to one of the best cafe's around and there is good access to some incredible views. Brynrefail is easy to find and is a 20 minute drive from junction 11 of the A55. Once here, walking routes are endless - if desired, you can walk out the house for 40 minutes to the base of Snowdon. The neighbouring villages, both around a 10 minute drive, have access to small convenience stores, outdoor shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you're without a car, the village is on a bus route from Bangor train station. It also has close links with the Sherpa bus service which gives you good acess to Snowdonia.
