Lovely Lodge on the doorstep of New Forest

A true country retreat located at the centre of the Downlands village of Damerham at the edge of the New Forest National Park . This self contained beautiful lodge offers modern living with a rustic charm and all mod cons you'd need. Dedicated parking and just a short stroll to the village pub. Just minutes from the National Park, the cathedral city of Salisbury, market towns Ringwood & Wimborne and the beaches of Bournemouth. It's ideal for exploring the southern counties nearby. The lodge is very spacious and welcoming with everything you need. Downstairs you'll find a well equipped kitchen/diner, relaxing lounge and good sized bathroom. In the centre of the lodge is a beautiful mezzanine wood landing which leads to a bedroom at each end of the property. Both bedrooms have kingsize beds that can also be set up as twins if that works better for you, just let us know. New for 2022!! - The lodge has it's own private, tranquil courtyard with comfortable outdoor seating and dining, warm festoon lights and BBQ which is great for when the weather is nice and for relaxing after a busy day exploring. There is also a dedicated parking space at the front of the lodge for our guests and plenty of other parking in the village if needed. The village has a small river running through, lovely country pub which often puts on live music at the weekends. If you want to walk from the lodge there are plenty of rural walks with stunning views across the Downlands. Not far away by car, you can go into the New Forest National Park, visit Salisbury, Ringwood or Wimborne. And not to forget the blue flag beaches in Bournemouth. We have a beach hut on Southbourne Beach that you can also rent for a small fee. We have just taken over the lodge from the previous owners who have let the property for the last 2 years and who had 5* reviews. We are excited to host more of our own guests in 2022! There is other on-street parking available around the village too if needed. We live in the property next door to the lodge so are available if you need anything. Unless you need us, you'll be left in peace to enjoy your holiday. The lodge is located in a small Downlands village with a pretty river running through, with lots of local walks, a friendly neighbourhood and a lovely local village pub. We are in a rural village so you'll need a car to get here and to explore further than the village itself (although the village is lovely to look around and the walking and cycling is great!)
