The Beach Hostel is a space for culturally sensible travelers, curious citizen, and respectful visitors. We aim to enable enjoyable experiences through access to meaningful connections with local people so that you can gain a greater understanding of local social, cultural and environmental issues. The Hostel is conveniently located in a calm and secure neighborhood, a few minutes walking from the beach and town centre. As experienced hosts, we will assist you in everything you need. We are located in the quiet neighborhood of Ponta de Atum. The Hostel is 5 minutes’ walk from the sea, the natural swimming pools and the best diving locations in Tarrafal. It's only 10-minute walk to the center of town, supermarkets and restaurants. Our hostel is environmentally friendly and strives for a cleaner, more environmentally-aware Tarrafal. In our Hostel, you will find a lot of creative upcycling ideas. We welcome your creativity and engagement. Room #1 has a private bathroom. Warm water is available. The hostel has many communal areas. A roof terrace with outside seating and grilling possibilities is open to all guest for amazing star-gazing evenings. We offer free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen so you can cook your own meals. Guest has exclusive access to the Hostel and the room as well as to the shared areas and roof terrace. The apartment manager will receive you in person and show you the apartment. He will give you expert tips on what to do and what to avoid, as well answer any questions you might have. As he lives nearby he will be available to assist you in what you might need throughout your stay. English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and German spoken. This is a safe and quiet residential area surrounded by the ocean. In less than 5 minutes walking you can reach everything: the beach, the ocean pools, and the town centre. Tarrafal is a small and picturesque fishing village. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sun, as well as a good base from where you can explore the whole island! Walking and biking are the smartest ways to get around in Tarrafal. Public transportation, Rent-a-car, and private taxis are the most common options to explore the island. Airport shuttle is available on request.
