Peace and serenity at the beach....

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Perfect for a couple wanting to get away from the fast pace of life (or one person wanting a bit of pampering!) The beach is but a moments walk away, only 10 minutes drive to Takaka, 7 minutes to the world famous Mussel Inn, 15 minutes to Collingwood and the world famous Farewell Spit Tours. Golden Bay is full of cafes and restaurants, art and craft trails, bush walks, hiking, climbing, and many fun adventures, choose your own pace and enjoy! As this room is upstairs from the main house there are stairs to access it (only 16!) and also stairs down to the beach. There is an alternative way to get to the beach via the road....either way you'll be on the beach super fast. As we are rural the wi-fi upstairs isn't super fast, but for anything more important you are very welcome to come downstairs where the internet is more reliable. Even though this is 'Golden Bay' we do have bad weather sometimes, and if this happens we have an extensive DVD collection for you to use....or do what we locals do and go to the Mussel Inn! (which is ideal as we have no cooking facilities apart from a microwave, Golden Bay has many eateries for you to try......) You have your own private entrance, and car park under the carport. Quiet street with only a dozen houses.
