Cosy double room in quirky flat near high street

A calming double room in my quirky flat in the heart of Crediton. Lovely local shops and cafes with nearby bus stops to Exeter and surrounding villages. Great access to Dartmoor! Make your own breakfast(supplied) and snacks in the kitchen. My place is small but quirky, at least we think so. I want quests to feel welcome and relaxed in our home. Guests are shown around the kitchen and are welcome to help themselves to breakfast and can use the kitchen at anytime to prepare snacks/meals. I may quite often be away during your stay but I will ensure that everything is ready for your stay and that I am contactable should you need anything. I like to think that every guest is a friend come to stay! Please note when making a reservation request that I do not offer instant booking. This is because I occasionally work from home or I have other commitments which means sometimes although my calender says that my place is available I may have to decline requests. Please do not be offended! The listing is for my spare room, in my small flat...I am not a B and B and I do require time to prepare the room (and the house) for guests so that you have a pleasant and comfortable stay. Guests are welcome to make themselves at home in the living room and to use the kitchen, as long as they remember that we are vegetarian and clear away after themselves. If you need anything you only have to ask and I will try to accommadate. If you need some laundry done please ask before using the washer as we have no drying facilities. We are home most evenings and are happy to sit and chat. Crediton is a quiet but historic town with the best of entertainment happening in Exeter just 8 miles away. There are some lovely walks around and near to Crediton, taking in the beautiful rolling hills of Devon. We are very close to Dartmoor and Exmoor and other places of interest to visit, though a car is needed to access many beautiful spots! There is a choice of eateries from fish and chips, Indian, Chinese and an array of pubs to choose from too. There is a bus stop on the corner from my place and a train service at the bottom of the town with great links to all of the UK. Even though I dont offer a cooked breakfast, there is always teas, including herbal/fruit teas, coffees, juices, cereals, porridge, eggs and toast available for you to make your own! There is a supermarket accross the road if you need any extras. Parking outside my house is restricted everyday except sunday to 45min. There are a number of unrestricted spaces further up the road and along peoples park road. Alternativly there is a carpark on St Saviours road or Market street.
