The Bungalow is a charming, private entry cottage attached to my (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ’s home. LA Tech campus and downtown shopping are only three blocks walking distance! The Christmas season in Ruston’s Downtown is filled with activities! Enjoy a private setting with a comfortable, eclectic mix of vintage and modern features. A living room, private bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. There is easy access to a covered and furnished deck surrounded by my cottage garden, pecan, magnolia and oak trees. The Bungalow is a cozy, slightly retro oasis in the heart of Ruston. Originally designed in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) era as a single family home. As nearby LA Tech grew, the owners added an apartment for students or young married couples to rent. You can still see the craftsmanship that buildings had during that era. With its private entrance and unique features it is a treat for many returning to class reunions, sports, etc. Downtown, restaurants and Tech are minutes away! Guest have access to all the grounds, most of which have antique iron or wooden fences enclosure. Outside seating areas are located throughout the property. We are located only three blocks from LA Tech campus. The athletic fields are a short distance for football and baseball games and events. The trolley for the football games is downtown, once again about three blocks. Ruston does not have public transportation, so the best option is private car. Most areas offer free parking. It is surprising that the Bungalow is down hill from the street. The house has three levels. The owner is on the street level. There is a locked private stairway from the owner residence to the second level where the Bungalow kitchen, bathroom and laundry room are located. The third level, one step down, is the living room and bedroom with both rooms having a private exit. There is a lockoff between the top level and the remainder of the house. The Bungalow has a separate entrance two steps down from the sidewalk. There is also a door in the bedroom to access a covered, furnished deck for relaxing and garden areas with seating available.
