The Hideaway is a private coach house attached to our house (separate entrance) . Just three miles from Glastonbury/Clarks village and 5 Mins from Millfield school. The hot tub is a real draw here open all year Perfect for couples and families can sleep up to 3 children, fantastic footpaths, walks & cycling in the area. Minimum of 2 nights but will do 1 night Monday to Thursday's A modern fully equipped kitchen, deliciously comfortable beds with crisp linen/towels and blackout blinds A gorgeous Coach house attached to our main house. We called it the Hideaway due to its very private nature and retreat like feel, beautifully refurbished interior with pared pack neutral colours and fabrics One large bedroom in eves space with a folding screen to section off areas (some areas are height restricted) A super comfy king size bed and a memory foam matress double bed.One single fold out bed ( on request) Bathroom with a powerful walk in shower and Basin drawer Units, Toiletries and Towels provided. This room overlooks : The stunning open plan living space with a vaulted ceiling and cathedral window looking towards the lawn and hot tub. A comfy sofa and armchair to relax in and watch your fave tv show with our amazon fire stick. A modern white equipped kitchen ( with pans and utensils), with oven, hob, washing machine, fridge and an original 60s dining table and 4 chairs with , direct access to a gorgeous orchard via bifold doors takes you out to your private patio area with outside seating and tempting Hot Tub The Hideaway has vodaphone WIFI and and HD TV with an amazon fire-stick so you can access your favoured viewing platform or work remotely . The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, oven washing machine plenty of cutlery glass ware and crockery with cooking equipment. The Hot Tub is open all year round and is private for The Hideaway. Please read the house rules and waiver re the Hot Tub We have tried to include everything you need for an enjoyable stay! Ocado and Tesco can deliver shopping to your door at this postcode. You will be staying within the boundary of our garden. . We are a family of three with two friendly dogs. We welcome couples and families but please no hen or stag parties- or any groups who would like to party. Our Hideaway is ideal for couples or small families. We will greet you when you arrive to make you feel welcome and help you with settling in. Please note this is a non smoking accommodation including the garden. Please note that we are a ‘no fake tan property’ as this stains the hot tub Parking is free and plentifull... I like to try and meet our guests on arrival And Answer any questions regarding the operating of the facilities @The Hideaway Located in the pretty historic village of Butleigh in a residential area Served by a local bus service to Street, and beyond to Castle Cary with direct trains to London Paddington Close to Millfield School and just over 3 miles from Glastonbury probably one of the quirkiest towns in the UK, steeped in history, myth and the smell of incense, home to the infamous festival and Glastonbury Abbey its ruins a grade 1 listed building often hosts events within its grounds and is of course the alleged resting place of the legendary King Arthur. Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are within easy reach by car ( approx 30 mins) Also just over 3 miles from Clarks village outlet shopping village. Our beautiful historic village has a local shop ,pub coffee shop The Drawing Room who produce the naughtiest cakes around, really a must while your here ( recently featured in the telegraph) within walking distance. There are some amazing walks with well marked footpaths to Butleigh woods & the Somerset levels Excellent local pubs and restaurants., we supply plenty of information at The Hideaway on local eateries and places of interest and activities locally , but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require any information prior to your stay with us.
