With our comfortable accommodations and convenient position, we are a suitable base for exploring this part of Suffolk. Our beautiful double bedroom has its own balcony and TV/ DVD player. There is a shared bathroom including shower and bath, and a shared kitchen, dining & patio area downstairs in the property. There is plenty of parking on the road immediately outside of the cottage. Breakfast can be provided at an additional cost: - Our Continental Basket includes fresh rolls and pastries, meats and cheeses, fruit juices, preserves and butter. - Our Traditional Basket includes fresh bread, fruit juices, locally sourced eggs, bacon and sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms. The cost of breakfast is £6 per person. Appletree Cottages is located on the edge of the beautiful Thetford Forest, well known for its wildlife, walks and off-road cycling. The beautiful town of Bury St. Edmunds with its Georgian Theatre Royal and marvellous cathedral is a 20-minute drive, whilst the ancient market town of Newmarket, well known for horses, horse-racing and annual Newmarket Nights open-air concerts, is just 15 minutes away by car. A little further on, you have Cambridge and Norwich, both only less than an hour away from the hotel. Newmarket train station is nine miles away. There is good train/coach access to London.
