Located minutes from Glenrowan town and just 15-20 minutes to Wangaratta and Benalla, Longview is perfectly situated for access to all the region has to offer. As suggested by the name, the property features expansive, elevated views across the local district, perfectly framing the Strathbogie Ranges and Winton Wetlands. Enjoy your self contained space with comfortable Queen bedroom, spacious living area, hot tub and swim spa and kitchenette with all you need to stay a while. You’ll truly feel at home here at Longview. With the comfort of a queen sized bed, high quality linen and towels, and views from almost anywhere in the apartment, you will be at ease during your stay. With the added luxury of a hot tub and swim spa, you can soak away the day’s adventure whilst planning the next one! Guests have access to the bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchenette of the self contained apartment which is attached to the main home. It is separated from the main home by a locked door at the end of the hallway. You will also have access to the hot tub (please request in advance so we can ensure it is heated ready for your arrival) and swim spa, and a section of the patio with outdoor setting so you can take in the views over a wine or dinner. Pets are allowed, but please be aware there will be an additional $50 charge to have your pet stay. Please advise us so we can amend the charge at the time of booking and ensure the facility is set up and ready for your fur baby.o We enjoy sharing our piece of paradise with others and look forward to warmly welcoming you to Longview. You are free to come and knock on the door to our home if you need anything, or to have a chat about the local area’s attractions. We are in the heart of Ned Kelly country, less than 5 minutes from Glenrowan. If you are keen to get active, venture to the Warby-Ovens National Park or Winton Wetlands where there are many walking and cycling trails. If food and drink is more your style, check out Baileys, Taminick Cellars or Black Dog Brewery for a tasting. Alternatively, venture 15 minutes in to Wangaratta for a large selection of restaurants, bars and take away options. We are within an hour’s drive of the gourmet regions of Beechworth, Bright and Milawa. You will need your own car to get to the accommodation and to explore the region. Parking is in the driveway but not undercover. Please be mindful that we are in the country and back on to a national park. This means we have some beautiful wildlife that come onto the property, and these are always best viewed and enjoyed from a distance. We are on tank water and sewerage is managed by a septic system. We ask you to please keep showers to no longer than 5 minutes and do not flush anything that may clog the septic system.
