Interbane; where heritage homes meet modern coastal luxury. This homestay hasn't been open to the public since the days of Tilly Devine. Interbane is situated upon Bald Hill, with the best views of the South Coast of NSW. The grounds are beautiful, featuring an outdoor spa and deluxe bedrooms; Interbane is also available to host a variety of events. Please check out our (Hidden by Airbnb) here: @interbanestanwellpark A wonderfully spacious 4 bedroom Victorian period style home. - Bed 1 king bed plus one single roll out bed - Bed 2 queen bed plus one single rollout bed - Bed 3 queen bed and king sized floor mattress, located in the wardrobe (to be placed in loungeroom) - Bed 4 and 5 are located in the ground floor family room. There is a luxurious bathroom with a free standing bath dedicated to the fourth bedroom. It has its own entertainment area and the extra double bed is located in this bedroom with a privacy screen. Please see photos. - Bed 6 is a king sized floor mattress and is stored in the wardrobe in bedroom three. It can be placed in the main lounge room as extra bedding if needed. The sheets doona and pillows are stored in the cupboard in bed three. Newly appointed meditation room now available. Serenity room is located opposite the outdoor spa. Music can be played on the indoor tv to create a relaxing healing space. PLEASE NOTE, A $50 fee applies for each person over 12 per day, up to 14 guests are Provided bedding. If approved Casual guests are charged $25 per day. You must request casual guests over 14 people. Porta-cot for baby/toddler available on request. Bedding provided. There is a play area dedicated to young children with plenty of toys to keep them entertained. The main dining table seats 10 when extended and there is another table for 4 in the main lounge. The home is serviced by ducted air conditioning throughout. There is a fireplace in the dining room with wood available in the wood box outside. There are three outside entertaining areas: the bottom deck area has covered seating and BBQ. The yard boasts a spa with stunning views over Stanwell Park beach, the SeaCliff Bridge and all the way down to the South Coast. Larger groups can be accommodated such as engagement parties, High tea functions, yoga groups, writers and artists retreat etc.. Interbane has a wonderful outlook all the way to as far south as Nowra on a clear day. In the evening as the sun is setting a mesmerising view unfolds as the lights of the beachside town and beyond begin to come alive in the distance. The sunsets paint a different scene every evening. Directly across the valley is Mount Mitchell which boasts a waterfall and can be seen during times of heavy rain. Large flocks of birds grace the valley along with eagles and Seahawks. Please note that 18th and 21st birthday parties are not permitted. Entire home is available for all guests. There is a private office which is locked and used by management and for formal functions only. The garage is not for use by guests as it is a storage room for equipment. Bald hill is noted as the entrance way to the Royal National Park and the stunning coastline of the Illawarra. Interbane is a private and somewhat secluded home. It’s history and detailed architecture as well as the magnificent views makes for a unique and interesting stay. Car is the best way to get around as Uber and taxi service is minimal. Otford Railway Station is about a thirty minute, easy walk and a bus stop is located nearby. Please take note that this property is located right on Bald Hill which is a popular tourist destination. During the weekends you will see and hear traffic. The home is well insulated to sound however motorbikes and sports cars often frequent the area and can be noisy. The wall unit in the main lounge has novels and books for you to read during your stay. A variety of magazines are also available for your use. Also located in the wall unit are games for all ages. Please be respectful of the equipment so that the next guests can use them as well. Any breakages or damage will be added to your account.
