Home Away From Home - (Room 2)

This room is located in a lovely quiet suburban area close to everything. The landlord (also owner), resides in the studio section of the home and rents out the remaining 3 rooms. There’s a huge backyard and we have done a lot of renovations. We have lived in Sydney for just under 30 years and we love this place. My families are all down the road and you will see my mum from time to time cleaning the home. I treat this more as a home than a business, and will do my best to accomodate the guest. There is 3 rooms + studio in the property. Landlord lives in the studio (separate kitchen and bathroom). Landlord (David) works as a carpenter full time and used to be a high school teacher. Spare rooms will be rented out from time to time and I try to find guest who looks after the premise. Parking available on street or on the driveway. I can offer you help but due to work and study full time, I’m limited to weekends. You will be given full independence. Nearby nursery, parks, fruit world and convenient stores readily available. ~10 mins walk to both Kogarah and Rockdale, which has heaps of shops. Rockdale Plaza (similar to Westfield) is a 6 mins walk from premise. 2 local parks nearby and a short stroll to Brighton Le Sands. Kogarah station is a 14 mins walk. From Kogarah, a 20-25 mins train can take you to Central station. Due to huge demand and bookings in advance, please only book for what you are prepared to stay. I will probably not be able to extend your stay if you change your mind during your trip and you want to stay longer. I am happy to pro rata refund and allow you to leave earlier if you like. I’m flexible with booking. You can cancel booking given at least one day notice. I’m running Airbnb as a way to serve God and help people. *Mum has a garden vegetable patch in the backyard and might visit from time to time. *This is NOT a party house. We expect peace and quiet after 9pm. No cooking and laundry to be used after 9pm. *Please keep property clean! Wash up your own plates and dry the bathroom floor after showering.
