Located in a small hamlet on the outskirts of the seaside resorts Sandown and Shanklin and not far from idyllic countryside and woodland, is this lovely well-presented property that has its own entrance leading into an open plan living space with dining area, ample seating and a modern well equipped kitchen area. There is a shower room off and a bedroom with built in wardrobes. Double glazed and in a tucked away location Beaches and Cream Cottage is suitable for an all year round holiday. Outside there is off road parking for your car and a pleasant seating area to have a morning coffee or an evening glass of something chilled. Winford is a neighbouring district to Apse Heath, which has a small supermarket store, and there is a Morrison’s store a short drive away. You’ll enjoy beautiful woodland walks in the nearby Borthwood Copse, where you will find an array of different trees and plenty of wildlife. The main cycle path from Sandown to Newport is accessed a few minutes away in Alverstone Village and the shopping town of Newport is about 15-20 minutes’ drive away, making this spot an ideal base to explore the whole Island. It is also on a bus route for convenience. Two local Inns serving traditional food fayre and fine cask ales are within 20 minute walk or a short drive. 5 minute drive to local supermarkets or a short 10 minute walk to a local minimarket. Many local walks and cycle route directly accessible from the property. The beautiful Borthwood Copse is 300 metres from the cottage.
