Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Mohican in our updated A-frame cottage. We're located within 6 miles of Pleasant Hill Lake, Mohican State Park, Mohican Lodge & Conference Center, Pleasant Hill Golf Course, Pleasant Hill Dam, and Malabar Farm. Spend time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, golfing, boating or canoeing/kayaking in the Mohican area. Public boat ramp and beach are just a short drive. **NEED A SECOND COTTAGE FOR MORE FRIENDS? SEE TREETOP COTTAGE LISTING, JUST AROUND THE CORNER.** After a day spent outside, build a fire in the outdoor firepit, sit on the porch swing, or simply stay on the large deck and enjoy the gas firepit. If the weather isn’t suitable for an evening outside, enjoy the atmosphere of the pellet stove inside. Our cottage has an open floor plan and features a stone fireplace with a pellet stove. On warm evenings, an air conditioner will keep the entire cottage comfortable. The living room has an L-shaped couch. High speed Wi-Fi is available to stream your favorite channels on TV. The kitchen has a small stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot that will brew individual k-cups or a pot of coffee. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal inside and enjoy at the large dining table or use the grill and share your meal outside at the table on the deck. The downstairs bedroom has a full-size bed and is across the hall from the bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both rooms have sliding barn doors. The loft has a queen bed and is accessed by the spiral staircase in the center of the cabin. If mobility is an issue, you may be more comfortable in the downstairs bedroom. Although a mesh gate is available to cover the stair entrance, this is not suitable for small children because of the steps. The lower level can be accessed by the spiral stairs or by the outside door and has an extra refrigerator and a game table for an evening card game or jigsaw puzzle. We hope you relax and enjoy our cottage and all that the Mohican area has to offer. Guests have access to the entire cottage except a locked cabinet in the basement and the outdoor shed. There are three parking spaces in front of the cabin. We ask that you follow the No Pet and No indoor smoking policy. Guest may check themselves in with the key pad lock. Our cottage is in the Pine Hill Boat Club neighborhood near Pleasant Hill Lake and Mohican State Park Lodge, but to access the lake you'll need to drive a few miles to the public ramp. You'll need your own car as there is no public transportation. We have four private parking spaces directly in front of our cottage.
