The Hogg and The Apple Store are perfectly positioned in spacious grounds close to the centre of the sought-after village of East Rudham. The house is full of character and each of the rooms has been beautifully furnished with superb attention to detail with designer fabrics and delightful art. On the ground floor guests will enjoy a large kitchen/dining room, perfect for entertaining; two sitting rooms, one with a cosy wood burning stove, a small study and utility areas. On the first floor the master bedroom has a dressing area and en-suite shower room. There are three further double bedrooms, one twin, a family bathroom and an additional shower room. The large garden is enclosed and dog friendly so bring your dog with you. This is the perfect place to while away a sunny afternoon, with a courtyard and barbecue area, table tennis, football goal and a pétanque court. This is a really luxurious home-from-home, less than a five minute walk from the village pub, The Crown, which serves fabulous food, a renowned farm shop and a tea room. The Apple Store annexe is separate from The Hogg and has a small double bedroom, a living room and a full bathroom. Additional Information: Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Kitchen/dining room A beautifully fitted kitchen with a large dining table with seating for ten guests, Aga, gas hob, double electric ovens, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, patio doors to garden, wooden floors and a breakfast bar with two stools. Reception Room With a large corner fabric sofa, wooden floor, side table and a large smart television. Entrance Hall With external door, cloakroom and stairs to the first floor. Study With a desk and chair. Sitting room With two large sofas and one two-seater sofa, footstools, wood-burning stove in feature brick surround, large television with Sky Q package and soundbar, side tables, coffee table. A further two seater sofa and single leather chair, games box with board games and toys. First Floor: Bedroom one (master) With a 5' king-size bed and snuggle chair. Dressing room With ample clothes storage. En-suite shower room With a walk-in shower and rainfall shower head, wash basin, WC, heated radiator and underfloor heating. Outside: The fully enclosed gardens extend to almost an acre, with orchard and wildflower areas, patio area with seating, barbecue in stone surround. Ample parking on the gravel at the front of the property with an electric car charging point and an outdoor table tennis table, football goal and pétanque court. East Rudham is a pretty Norfolk village just 20 minutes' drive from the North Norfolk coast. It is well served with an excellent pub/restaurant, The Crown which is a five minute walk away. There is also a lovely gift shop and tea room serving homemade cakes, an excellent butcher and small village shop. The market town of Fakenham is a short drive away with its busy market and auction on Thursdays. Sculthorpe nature reserve with excellent birdwatching is five minutes away and you'll find many other NWT and RSPB reserves on the coast just a short drive away. Pensthorpe and Watatunga are both accessible attractions and are well worth a visit, Pensthorpe. For the nature lovers among you, you will fall in love with rural North West Norfolk with its spectacular meadows, rich in poppies; fields of fragrant lavender throughout the summer months and many quintessentially English villages. For history buffs, the region is also home to many fine stately homes which are open to the public including Houghton Hall and Sandringham, the countryside residence of HM The Queen. A 20-minute drive will take you to Brancaster and the North Norfolk coast with its beautiful beaches, and the popular Georgian village of Burnham Market with its quaint and quirky shops.
