The Lodge in Neudörfl with a beautiful lake near is very close to Wr. Neustadt (with golfcourse and asia-thermalbath Linsberg), near the musicmetropolis Wiesen, best for trips around Eisenstadt, Wien, Semmering and Schneeberg. Bikes are available! You enter the warm and cosy Lodge upstairs to the covered terrace. Very old chestnutt-trees are close beside and birds´(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)ing around. It`s possible that our cock is allready going to advertise your breakfastegg and some cat comes along the corner. When entering there is a big squarish anteroom with two bathrooms and brightly fully equipped modern kitchen with big windows to the south of the garden. On the left side you come into the big brightly living room and behind the bedroom with douple-bed. The garden area in front oft the Lodge with flowers, meadow, various types of shrubbery, roses, sweet herbs, one of the old typical austrian pine and our new planted medlar tree are available. If you need bikes, they are also there for you. The terrace is fully equipped with parasols, table, gardenchairs, gardenbench and deckchairs in a nice kind of shabby-chic. It`s also possible to have a BBQ in the garden upstairs and for the children there is a sandpit. Free wifi. There is a health resort in the next local cummunity to Neudörfl with a rose garden and a special store called the Genussquelle with wine and other gastronomic specialities of Burgenland with the possibility to take the healing (iron-containing) water of Sauerbründl with you. 40 years ago in Wiesen was the first jazz festival called the Wiesener-Jazz-days. Since that time Wiesen is not only the metropolis of sweet strawberries (called Ananas-Erdbeeren), it`s also the fantastic and special cultural metropolis of music and it`s proximity to Neudörfl. The ex-imperial residence city Wiener Neustadt is also next to Neudörfl. The protected landscape Marzer (Rohrbacher) Kogl with species-rich sward and pond-meadow offers the opposite pole to the mountains surrounding. So, in winter you could travel to Semmering to go skiing or sledging. Fresh pastry, milk and coffee are available across from the lodge at the bakery Kaiser and it`s also open on sunday morning. There is also a grocery four houses clockwise from the holidayhome. Many inns (the austrian call it Buschenschank or Heurigen) of the Neudörfler winegrowers invite you with best austrian wine and farmerfood and more. If you prefer our housewine - we would be pleased to serve it! The austrian Bierpapst Conrad Seidl recommend the Bierkistl (pub) a few steps from the Lodge. In Neudörfl there is also a tennis-court a 5 minutes walk from the Lodge and in summer the beautiful lake is open to go for a swim. The antroposoph Rudolf Steiner was living in Neudörfl in his early years.
