Grandze Vetan

The property, a 19th century alpine chalet, has recently undergone a complete architectural restoration that succeeded in combining tradition and contemporary elements. Attention to detail is a constant in every space, a true dream for architecture buffs. Our Chalet enjoys breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Western Alpine range and it's perfectly exposed to the south. Close to numerous hiking trails, a known area for back-country skiing, it's a place for true mountain lovers. The property is organized into a main floor and an attic, where the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom are located. The main floor is made of a large open-space kitchen/living room with a panoramic window, 2 bedrooms and bathroom with free standing bathtub. Wood stoves are available in nearly all spaces to give a true "mountain" experience to our guests. All appliances and fittings are of the highest standard and quality. The house is surrounded by a spacious private garden with breathtaking views of the majestic Graian Alps (Grivola, Gran Paradiso, Grivola etc). Easy to access via car, still the Chalet is far from trafficked roads which makes it safe for kids to play around. Only the apartment on the upper two floors (about 110 sqm) is available for guests. The apartment is accessible through a private entrance. Our co-host will welcome you on arrival for the check-in and meet you again for the check-out on departure. For any help, you can contact the host who will be happy to be of assistance. Various shelters, and alpine lakes are easily accessible by paths and well-marked trails for both families and the experienced hikers. Among other sports, in the area it is possible to do rafting, mountain biking, horse riding, paragliding, fishing and much more. To get to the property a car is necessary. Aosta is about 20 km from the chalet. The closest grocery store in 4 Km. away. Local cuisine restaurants are available within walking distance. -Because of its position and elevation, interaction with others can be kept easily at a minimum, is you so wish. This makes Grandze Vetan the perfect place, in these difficult times, to enjoy a safe family vacation. -Great care is taken in sanitizing the house. -A curb is available for babies. -2 queen beds and 1 bunk bed are available. please note that the max length of mattresses in the bunk bed is 175 cm.
