Situated on the A48, overlooking the Cone Valley Brook, close to the beautiful Forest of Dean and a wealth of other stunning attractions, Swan House Tea Room is perfectly situated for a romantic get-away, short break or holiday. Swan House Tea Room is the perfect venue to enjoy a morning coffee, a glass of wine with lunch, a scrummy cream tea or a slice of delicious homemade cake. Afternoon tea is our speciality. Swan House Tea Room has been sympathetically restored and our tea room and luxury bedrooms offer modern amenities. With three luxury double ensuite bedrooms currently available (we will have 5 bedrooms eventually along with 2 self contained cottages) with all the facilities you'd expect such as tea and coffee, hairdryer and shower products so you can fully relax in a comfortable space. A continental breakfast is included in the price. Parking at Swan House Tea Room is free to patrons. Set back from the A48 with ample parking, Swan House Tea Room over looks the pretty Cone Valley Brook. Chepstow and Lydney are in easy reach and offer all the usual amenities and conveniences. Delightful villages such as Woolaston and Alvington are closer still and offer a wonderful community atmosphere. Further afield you have Bristol, Gloucester and Newport to name just a few offering diverse culture, wonderful tourist attractions, fantastic shopping, and a great selection of restaurants and bars. Chepstow and Lydney train stations are within easy reach but the bus service is limited. Swan House Tea Room is most convenient for car drivers. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs as Swan House Tea Room is a listed building and we were not permitted to make the necessary changes. Please note, all entrance and exit points involve the use of steps to the main building where breakfast is served. So even if you book ground floor accommodation unfortunately you will be unable access the main building. Our self catering cottage is, however, on the ground floor and would suit those who cannot manage steps but are happy to cater for themselves.
