Enjoy stunning views from the raised outside dining area looking out across the Wye Valley or have a short still in to the village and have a meal at drink at the village pub. The ultimate place to relax, unwind and have some quality time with family & friends. The traditional cottage has a fully loaded kitchen, downstairs lounge with log burner and dining room that also has a sofa to curl up and relax on. Upstairs are the four bedrooms including the en-suite master, which has stunning views across the valley. To the rear is an elevated dining and BBQ area that is situated on the valley sides with a beautiful, lit decking area. Parking for three cars is at the side of the house. Away from the house, the property also has exclusive fishing rights for four stretches on the River Wye including one of the best Barbel and Chub beats on the entire river. Details of these can be provided upon request. These are in addition to the incredible beats available from the Wye & Usk Foundation and other private beats (available on day ticket) within the area. Please note; these are traditional fishing beats. Access can be difficult and unsafe at certain times of the year and depending on river levels. The fishing is absolutely outstanding though! Although we don’t live locally, we are available to assist by telephone throughout your stay and have friends and tradesmen nearby, should you need any assistance. Hoarwithy is a small village in the civil parish of Hentland, and on the River Wye in Herefordshire, England. It is known for its church of St Catherine built in an Italian Romanesque style with detached campanile. The church, on a steep hillside above the village was built to a design by J. P. Seddon by William Poole, the wealthy Vicar of Hentland in the 1870s. The village has one public house, the New Harp Inn, which is adjacent to the River Wye. The pub serves food and drink throughout the evening and is open most days. Wye Canoe hire is also within walking distance from the house.
