Escape and Sea, Glenduan, Nelson

Space for up to four people, using a bell tent with a queen bed bed in it along with the guest suite, Glenduan is 14km North of the city nestled next to the beach. The suite is spacious for a couple who enjoy the beach, bush and forest. A stones throw from the sea but Near enough to Nelson for all the city has to offer. The suite has a private entrance and views to the ocean. For Marchfest we offer transport so guests can enjoy the festivities without worry. The space is exclusive for guests with its own entrance. A bedroom with queen bed and views out across the Tasman sea. A large lounge area with a sofa and simple items to make hot drinks. On a sunny day the warmth floods into the area making it a lovely spot to sit and enjoy. The suite has its own bathroom with shower wash basin and toilet. The bell tent has a double bed, it is situated up the garden with views to the sea. Guests will have access to thier own private space via thier own entrance. If required they can access the washing machine and dryer. We are often out and about at work but are happy to sit and chat with guests providing information about the area. For Marchfest we offer transport. Escape and Sea is uniquely set in an eclectic community. It is peaceful and quiet where you can hear the birds sing. There are are no street lights allowing you to sea the wonders of the night sky. Sunsets are beautiful and memorable.The Boulder Bank beach allows swimming, snorkelling kayaking amongst the Horiangi Marine reserve. Come and enjoy the Cable Bay Walkway or more gentle strolls along the beach or park. You need a car to stay at Glenduan. It is a 10 minute drive from Nelson. Bring your bikes it is easy to enjoy the area. the beach is a 2 minute walk away. We are a couple who have a dog and a cat, they can be heard running around chasing each other. Our children are all grown and mostly left home, however they come and go. At times the household does get noisier, it is hard to miss when they are about.
