Enjoy the atmosphere of the 50s but with modern amenities in our late model camper. With 50s inspired decor, a queen bed in it’s own room and bunk beds, this is a great launching point for a family vacation. Located at the Cox Homestead, you are not far from the action. Sevierville-8 miles Pigeon Forge-14 miles Gatlinburg-24 miles Knoxville-23 miles The camper allows you to get away from the traditional hotel experience, and be surrounded by nature in a scenic environment. Although this is a camper, it won’t feel like camping. Amenities include: A/C Flat screen TV - rabbit ear reception Full bath Queen bed Twin bunk beds Kitchen Games Outside fire pit Outside picnic Table The camper is surrounded by farmland and breathtaking views. We are located minutes from tourist attractions, hiking trails, and Douglas lake. There is room for kids to play and run around outside. The camper does sit on a busy road, so please keep a close eye on your kids. We, the owners, live on the property in close proximity. It is a working farm, so we are often out doing chores. Please feel free to ask questions, but know our time must be respected. If you have questions about the homestead please consider scheduling a homestead experience. There's two entrances to the property. Parking is in a gravel parking space to the right of the camper. There is a sign labeled "Guest Parking." The camper resides on our property. We are a working farm, so we are often outside and available for questions. Feel free to ask for restaurant or attraction recommendations. Our homestead consists of 5 acres, and across the road is the largest cattle farm in Sevier County. Couple that with close vicinity to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Knoxville, and I-40, you can relax when you want, but be close the party. Personal transportation is needed for our location. Farm tour available with additional Homestead Experience purchase. Minimum age for booking is 25. Driver's license photocopy required upon booking to verify. A signed contract is required before your stay. A contract will be emailed after booking. You will electronically sign the contract. Key is kept in lockbox near the camper. You will be given the lockbox code prior to arrival. Some differences found in a camper vs a traditional home: Water heater is sufficient, but smaller, so multiple showers back to back may have to wait for more hot water. Stove is propane, which has a pilot light to start. Electric griddle is available. Height in the bedroom area is about 6 feet.
