Private “Hampton Room” in the Emerson Guest House

Our house is a rambling old Victorian with high ceilings and large windows. We have five bedrooms on the second floor, which are exclusively used for guests. The Hampton room is our only en-suite guest room, with its own tiny shower/bathroom. Note that this room faces Main St., so you may hear traffic noise, especially if the windows are open. We purchased this historic home in October 2021 and are gradually making improvements. Furnishings may be different than as pictured when you arrive. In the gracious entryway you’ll find freshly brewed coffee in the morning. On the second floor, you’ll have access to your room and the shared bathroom. Outside, there is ample park-like space to enjoy, with multiple fire pits and seating areas. The Emerson Guest House is located on Main St. in downtown Vergennes, just a short walk from shops, restaurants, the Vegennes Opera House and the town library. The guest house is centrally located on Main Street in downtown Vergennes. It is a short walk to all the Little City has to offer. You can park right in front on the street or in the parking lot to the left of the house. In the winter, there is a street parking ban, so you must park in the lot.
