The "Fireplace" Suite - Cascina Viaris

Our luxurious "Fireplace Suite" is a room situated within the confines of an antique farm known as "Cascina Viarìs," a private residence set in the hills of Turin. The room has been recently renovated, but its original stone walls are still exposed. The cozy yet luxurious accommodation is adorned with customized furnishings, soft linens, and luxurious bedding. This spacious room (over 30sqms or 323 sq ft), along with its front garden, offers a one-of-a-kind experience amidst the silence and coolness of Turin's hillside. Enjoy a sense of wellbeing and relaxation in our finely furnished suite with our high-quality soft cotton bedding, down pillows and comforter, mattress heater, fluffy bath towels and robes, high-quality complimentary bathroom products, and hydro massage shower. The room has a mini-fridge, a water boiler, a coffee machine, complimentary coffee pods, and more. _________ For families traveling with children, a cot is available upon request for a small fee. Animal lovers are welcome to bring their friendly companions along; please notify us during the booking phase. Our 4-legged fur babies reside on the property but are separated from the suites by a secure fence. The Fireplace Suite is usually separated from the Old Well Suite by a securely locked door. However, for those traveling in pairs, the door can be unlocked and opened upon request. Each room has a private entrance and private bathroom. _________ Cascina Viaris is a renovated farmhouse from the 1700s. It originally belonged to the Count of Bardassano, a tiny town visible on one of the adjacent hills. Even though the rooms have been modernized, the old farmhouse still flaunts its original 18th-century wood and stone architecture. The old farmhouse is a private residence equipped with two private suites and a small holiday home, which are available for rent. We have two gazebos, a barbeque, and an outdoor pizza oven that we're happy to share with our guests (when the weather permits). Other areas, such as the antique wine cellar and our garage that hosts our e-bikes, will soon be available for guided wine and cycling tours. For those visiting with their bicycle, our workshop is ready to use free of charge for cleaning and maintenance and secure bike storage. E-bike battery charging is available through solar power. Cascina Viaris is located in Bardassano (Gassino Torinese). It can be reached via a short inclined dirt road that is connected to Strada Collina Serra. Reserved parking in front of the entrance gate to the suites is always free for our guests. We're a 25-30 minute drive to downtown Turin, a 10-minute drive to the city of Chieri, a 15-minute drive to the E70 highway (Santena), 20 minutes away from the A4 highway (Settimo T / Castiglione), and 30 minutes away from Caselle, the Turin airport. Our immediate surroundings boast various attractions such as castles in the towns of Bardassano, Sciolze, Pavarolo, and Montaldo; Abazzia di Vezzolano, Lake Arignano, Cinzano, and all of Monferrato. About Emilia & Emanuele We are an Italian-American couple who share many, many interests. I, Emilia, am an English language coach and a private chef that is always happy to share my extensive knowledge of both Italian and American cooking (while speaking either Italian or English). Emanuele is a licensed bike tour guide and sommelier, who is always happy to share his extensive knowledge of the local landscape and wines. We truly enjoy designing special experiences that are specifically tailored to our guests' hobbies and interests.
