Come join us for an unforgettable stay at Boreal Plains in Arnes, located just 15 minutes past Gimli Manitoba. Here you'll find our beautiful 10 acre paradise full of poplar trees and sprinkled with tiny spruce, the perfect setting for your overnight getaway from the city. Our property hosts 2 four season canvas tents, with more to come. The cherry on top will be a wood burning sauna and 2 wood fired hot tubs - all of which will debut in November * You'll be staying in a beautiful four season canvas tent, which hosts a raised Queen bed, sitting area and woodstove for additional warmth and comfort on those cool nights. Firewood is provided for each campsite and all communal areas Please bring any cookware and cooking utensils that you may need during your stay Each booking will be provided with a private tent, outhouse and firepit with seating Guests have full access to the property and communal areas such as the sauna & hot tubs (November - June) and outdoor showers and kitchen (June - September) However we request that you please respect other guests privacy by not entering designated tent areas More than anything, we want our guests to feel at home during their stay while visiting Boreal Plains! You will usually find Sean, myself (Alyssa), our toddler and maybe even our pup Gordie, roaming around the property throughout the day as we do our best to improve and maintain the space We always welcome visitors to say hello, visit with us and of course let us know if there is anything we can do to help make your stay more enjoyable! Boreal Plains is located 15 minutes past Gimli, directly off of the number 8 highway Our location allows for a straight forward drive directly from Winnipeg and most other surrounding locations In the summer seasons, the beach town of Gimli offers fantastic food, events, festivals, shopping and of course water activities During the winter season, our location offers easy access to ice fishing, ice skating and winter activity opportunities Boreal Plains offers seasonal activity rentals and tours, please enquire within if you are looking for further information if you would like to add these options to your stay * We want to remind our guests that although we are providing a tenting experience, we are not a luxury or glamping camp company. Yes, you will be cozy, the tent will certainly be cute and you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay. However, you will still be camping! There is no running water onsite however each tent will be provided with a 10L jug of potable water on arrival Solar lanterns will be provided for use at night however due to being an off grid facility, we do not have electricity at this time Regarding Dogs : Your potty trained and well behaved furry friends are more than welcome to join you during your stay Be sure to pickup after your animals during your stay out of respect for the other guests and do not leave your dog's unattended in the tent Remember to pack accordingly in terms of weather, and be prepared to enjoy the undisturbed great outdoors!
