Stone cottage set in a picturesque conservation village in the Clwydians area of outstanding natural beauty on the boundary of Loggerheads country park. Great for a quiet getaway. The cottage is newly refurbished, ideal for a couple and up to two children plus pet. Very popular area for walking and mountain biking, easy access to the coast and mountains of N. Wales and the historic cities of Chester and Liverpool. Award winning pub in village and several others within 3m. Bike storage. It's a cottage, pretty snug, wooden or tiled floors, beamed ceilings, wood burning stove. Very cosy! Nice outside area, great for dining in the summer. There is a small shed that provides a steel anchor point for securing about 3 bikes. Ample on street parking on Village Road, easy access to the A55 for the north Wales coast and Snowdonia or the other direction for Chester or Liverpool. There is public transport into Mold and Ruthin. Great walking and running in Loggerheads country park and in the Clywdian range. Mountain biking in the Clwydians is very popular and you can cycle from the house. The Berwyns are pretty close too, Glyn Ceiriog is 45 mins away. For the more technical Llandegla is only 15 minutes away by car, Penmachno and the Marin are just under an hour and Coed Y Brenin is about 10 minutes longer. Chester is less than 30 mins away and Liverpool is easy to get to by car or train from the Wirral. The historic castles of north Wales are about an hour away, with several more local ones such as Caergwrle, Ewloe, Flint and Dinas Bran. Stately homes such as Chirk Castle and Erddig and St Winifreds Well, Basingwerk and Valle Crucis Abbeys. The world heritage site, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the Dee and steam trains at Llangollen are half an hour away. There are several pubs within a 3 mile radius and restaurants and take aways in Mold and Ruthin. Ample, easy on street parking. access to the A55 within 10 mins and public transport to the local towns.
