Steadings Piggery

Steadings Piggery is a newly converted bungalow with a small private courtyard. Don't let the name 'Piggery' put you off this accommodation as it has been converted to a high standard. Set in the rural Suffolk village of Newbourne it is a great location for walking or getting out and sightseeing in the local area. Our park backs on to Newbourne springs nature reserve and there is a footpath that takes you to the Fox pub. We also have a well stocked fishing lake which you are free to enjoy. We live on site and are available to help you if required. Newbourne is a quiet village with a chocolate box pub 'The Fox' which serves great food & drink. There are farmers stalls around the village selling local eggs , fruit & veg. Although a car is necessary for your stay there are great walks direct from the site (foot path maps available) - take a stroll to the River Deben at Waldringfield or have a wander around Newbourne Springs.
