Newly Renovated 1960's Stone Farmhouse on 4 acres

Hidden away on a 4 acre lot at the end of a dead end road, this newly renovated Stone House is the quintessential mountain getaway...perfect for family gatherings, or just a week (or weekend) away. You can comfortably sleep 8 thanks to our custom bunk room, and you are setup for epic meals with our indoor and outdoor kitchens. And last but not least, an amazing fire pit area complete with swings and Adirondack chairs. When we found this gem it was in complete disrepair. We did a full gut-renovation of the entire home to create our peaceful mountain escape. Complete with 2 full kitchens (indoor & outdoor), 2 wood burning stoves, and an epic fire pit setup (with swings!). This is our little slice of The Catskills and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Oh, we also installed a full home water filtration system, so no sulphur-y tasting water, and you are connected to our whole home backup generator, so when we lose power (its not 'if' in the mountains!) it'll come back on within 5 seconds! Guests have full access to the property with the exception of the triangle patio at the barn, and the barn itself. That is a separate listing. You will have our home all to yourselves. One of our favorite things about this property is that we are really secluded, and at the same time only a 6 min drive to the supermarket and liquor store, so it is super convenient while giving you all the seclusion you are looking for. The Asokan Rail Trail is a 5 min drive from the house. This newly opened trail is 11 miles long and traces the northern bank of the Asokan reservoir, so bring your bike...and if you're up for it you can pedal all the way to Woodstock. We also airbnb our barn, so there may be other guests on the property when you are there, but you both have your own private spaces.
