Modern Farmhouse Retreat Surrounded by Farmland

Tucked away in idyllic Jarrettsville and surrounded by farmland is the modern farmhouse retreat that elevates the Airbnb experience for every guest. Jarrettsville is right in the sweet spot within 30 minutes to major cities in the Greater Baltimore area and Southern PA and close to a plethora of local breweries and wineries as well as local shops, restaurants, events, and outdoor activities including hiking, biking, fishing and tubing. Breakfast, soaking tub, and campfires all included! Inspired by Magnolia in Waco, TX, the bright and open space feels airy and cozy all at the same time. Lots of modern farmhouse design and decor plus thoughtful touches throughout give guests a unique and unforgettable experience. Two super comfy queen beds and a couch are available for sleeping including a pack and play when requested. A closet and dresser are included for storage space if needed. Shared laundry is available when requested as well. Enjoy a little R&R in the adorable stocked bathroom including soaking tub with bath bombs, salts and bubbles as well as some fun face masks to choose from so get ready to relax. The kitchen is complete with mini refrigerator including a dedicated freezer, Keurig coffee maker with K-cups and tea, toaster oven and hotplate plus the all the kitchen basics you need! Enjoy a quick and tasty breakfast before you head out with your choice of yogurts, muffins and granola bars. Please note: breakfast items are only included for quick stays of up to 2 days since local cafes are a bit farther out. Feel free to shop nearby for longer stays! Sit by the large picture window overlooking farmland or cozy up on the couch and watch a little tv. Wifi available with access to Netflix, Prime and Disney+ as well as a computer monitor if you need to get some work done. Outside is a little private oasis with picnic table and seating area with fire pit. Parking is available on the private Airbnb parking pad. We live on the property so we're available whenever you need us or can be just a text away. We are pretty sociable people but value privacy just the same so feel free to set the tone on how much interaction you're comfortable with during your stay :) Lots of local gems to experience in our small town. Check out Jarrettsville Deli and Creamery with a large menu for lunch and the best ice cream around! Madonna Seafood is the popular spot for dinner including pizza, crabs and more. Need some basics? Dollar General is only a couple miles away. You'll find locals walking and biking on our street so feel free to do the same. If you're looking for a little more adventure, fishing, hiking, biking and tubing at the NCR trail is just 15 minutes away. Lots of travelers come for the incredible local finds, home decor and crafts made by local artisans while shopping at Southern Sol Shoppe and Belle Patri plus The Green Door and The Painted Mill. Jarrettsville is right in the middle of the plethora of highly rated local breweries and wineries. Taste some beer and enjoy local live music at Iverness, Falling Branch, Double Groove, Slate Farm, Independent, AleCraft, Big Truck, B.C., South County and Gunpowder Falls. Check out the local wine tastings and events at Boordy, DeJon, Harford, Fiore, Royal Rabbit and Basignani Wineries. The parking pad is on the edge of the lot so be prepared to walk a little and bring a flashlight (or use your phone’s)! The path is lit by string lights to help! Please do not park closer to the Airbnb as this space is the dedicated for the septic and drain field.
