Our comfortable, large Villa is located in the hills of Lunigiana valley, only 25 minutes from Lerici, Portovenere, Cinque Terre Park. Has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with jacuzzi bath or shower, a large porch with chairs & sofas, a wide garden, pool (15 x 5 mt, oval, may-oct). Wifi in the whole property, smart TV, BBQ. Perfect for family holidays or a romantic getaway. Nearby: all services, great food & fun for kids! Our beautiful villa is in the large park surrounding our own house, overlooking the Alps and Apennines. After the automatic gate that enters both properties, there is a separate gate to your house & garden. Cars can be parked inside, no problem. Plenty of outside space, but also very comfortable living and dining areas, large bedrooms, modern bathrooms with all facilities. The master bedroom has its own ensuite, and a french window to the terrace overlooking the garden. It's perfect for a family, or even two families sharing, or a group of friends. Wifi, Smart Tv, BBQ, large garden with lot of space to play! The house and the garden are at your disposal. The basement of the house has a separate entrance, we use it as storage, rarely, and as a pool chairs storage. Free parking inside automatic gate, safety is guarantee by video surveillance. Please note video surveillance and alarm is also outside the house, for guests and house safety. We live in the house nearby and are at your disposal for any info and tips. We're here to help, respecting your privacy Podenzana is a small village, famous for its speciality called "Panigacci", which you will be able to taste at walking distance form us! Around us the beauties of the coast cosy villages and little towns (Lerici, Portovenere, Cinque Terre), but also the Apuan and Apennines mountains and the nature with woods & lakes. Ideal for bikers or lovers of hiking! Two national parks are around us, and a few minutes away Adventure Parks for kids and adults. The geothermal Spa of Equi Terme are at 30 minutes, the towns of Lucca, Pisa, Florence are a perfect day trip. Lunigiana is in the Northern corner of Tuscany. It is a land of incredible beauty, offering rushing streams, pools suitable for bathing, thermal waters, medieval castles and rugged peaks as the Apuane Alps look down on valleys worked by families for centuries. Vineyards and olive trees compete with hill-top villages, bell towers proudly soaring to the blue sky above. Even when it rains, there is a beauty in the land which breathes tranquility. There are some excellent local restaurants offering traditional fare, and the sea-food nearer the coast is second to none. The gateway to Lunigiana is Aulla, and once through this somewhat unremarkable town the area blossoms into unspoilt beauty. At every turn, views reveal themselves and the chestnut clothed foothills of the Apuane Alps add colours of every kind, softening the landscape and lending itself to many photo opportunities. Within this area one can visit the Cinque Terre, an outstandingly beautiful area on the Ligurian coast, or drive up into the mountains to the Apuane National Park and into the Garfagna region. Pisa with its famous leaning tower and breathtaking baptistery is an hour and a quarter away, or in the other direction lies Parma, home of parmesan cheese and Parma ham. Artists, photographers and lovers of fine architecture as well as music lovers will delight int he pleasures of a day in Lucca, birthplace of Puccini. Here you can walk the ancient walls or hire a bike and cycle them. The San Michele Church among other sites is a must and you can spend the whole day discovering this ancient city's gems. Ancient ruins of the Roman Empire are still evident in Luni which is another good day out or, how about Carrerra, with its marble quarries, still worked today, and from which Michael Angelo insisted that his marble should come. Once you have visited Lunigiana you will want to return again and again to enjoy the feeling of peace and well being with which it leaves you.
