Cottage in the countryside- with private hot tub!

Converted stable surrounded by fields and trees but only 30 minutes from both Glasgow and Edinburgh and only 20/10 minutes from Stirling and Falkirk. Situated beside the world heritage site of the Antonine wall, the lovely falkirk wheel and kelpies. Every airbnb space probably thinks they are unique- ours is! We have a world heritage site in the garden- the Antonine wall. This is delightful to walk along and there are various walks from the door. We are situated in the very heart of Scotland and are thus perfectly located for a touring holiday- 30 minutes from Edinburgh and Glasgow and a beautiful garden and hot tub to return to after exploring the delights of Scotland. We welcome dogs- there is a small additional charge of 15GBP for one and 25GBP for two dogs payable directly to us. The following description is a little pedantic - but it describes the cottage exactly- imperfections and all! The cottage has 2 double bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests in comfort. It can sleep 2 more in a sofabed but this is only suitable for short stays and must be agreed with us in advance. Really the sofabed is more suitable for alternative sleeping when 2 double beds are not suitable. We can also supply a single bed in one of the bedrooms. This must be agreed in advance. The cottage was converted from a stable block in 2004. It features double height ceilings in the living areas and the original hayloft door now converted to a window. It also has 2 velux roof windows which make the living areas very bright and sunny. The bathroom has a large bath with a shower over, wash hand basin and WC. It was completely renovated in July 2018. The kitchen was refreshed in 2017 with a new worktop and new doors. It has a large integrated fridge freezer, a new washing machine and a new dishwasher (2017). There is also an electric hob new 2018 and oven which is showing its 10 year age but works perfectly. There is a glass dining table with 4 leather chairs. The kitchen is equipped with EVERYTHING you could need- 2 frying pans, 4 saucepans, every utensil you could need, smoothie maker, food processor, scales, crockery and cutlery for 8, sharp knives, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, oil, sugar, wine glasses, champagne glasses, mugs, cups and saucers. There are tea towels, cloths, dishwasher tablets, fairy liquid and cleaning materials under the sink. If you lack for something in the kitchen just let us know and we will supply it. The lounge is equipped with 2 - 2 seater leather sofas, one has a recliner. These were bought in 2016. They are very well made and very heavy. There is also an ikea fabric sofabed - and a lovely purple velvet club chair. We supply cushions and assorted throws. These were replaced September 2017 and are renewed every year and washed/dry cleaned every month. There is a 40 inch TV with every UK and international cable and terestial channel. There are also 1500 films to choose from. The wifi has been upgraded to fiber in Feb 2017 and now achieves up to 25Mbps- its usually at 15- its unlimited. The bedrooms have a double bed in each with a high quality mattress. The beds were replaced Sept 2016 and have thick mattress protectors, 4 pillows each bed- all with protectors and a synthetic duvet. The bed linen is good quality but not Egyptian cotton which is a nightmare to iron. Talking about ironing we iron the pillow cases and duvet covers but not the sheets. The bedroom furniture was also replaced in 2016. We supply one bath towel per person staying and 2 hand towels in the bathroom- you are welcome to ask for more which we would charge £3 per bath towel. In the bathroom we supply shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, 2 toilet rolls and soap. All of the pictures advertised on airbnb are of the actual cottage that you are booked into. We have another cottage and large house on the same site. There is a hot tub supplied with the cottage. The hot tub will be maintained for you on a daily basis. You must follow the very simple directions of use that are supplied in the cottage. The hot tub was new in 2018 and has a bluetooth speaker and LED lights. The hot tub is very private- there is a 6 foot fence on 3 sides and its open to the woods, fields and trossachs on the 4th side. Its also open to the sky which means you can see the stars and comets as there are no street lights. There are new motion senor lights beside the hot tub. There is an outside table and chairs for 6. You are welcome to use disposable BBQ on the concrete slabbed areas only. We no longer provide a BBQ. The hot tub and table and chairs are situated in a large very private garden area surrounded by trees. It is laid with gravel and paved areas. The cottage was built with the needs of a wheelchair user in mind. The doors are wider to accommodate wheelchairs and the bathroom is bigger to accommodate a chair. There are no steps in the cottage or to enter and you can park right outside. There is no walk in shower. Each cottage has its own private hot tub, table and chairs and garden space for outdoor use. You can park immediately in front of the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk and use the 5 acres of grounds. I am not there but my 2 sons will be about every day to check the hot tubs and manage the gardens. They dont live on site but are within 20 minutes drive. Our immediate surrounds are woods and trees yet within a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk is the local town of Bonnybridge- a typical Scottish town and NOT a tourist resort- nothing fancy but its has a few pubs and restaurants. A tesco, co op, various take aways, a Scottish fish and chip shop, hairdressers and a beauticians. Falkirk and Stirling are both within 20 to 30 minutes drive and have additional facilities such as cinema , ice skating, leisure centres and a host of tourist facilities. You can manage without a car but its better to have one. We have 3 properties on the same site- however they are in 5 acres and surrounded by woods and fields so not exactly lacking space! Each property has a private garden and all enjoy a high degree of privacy. All properties have their own private hot tub. . Ours are professionally looked after on a daily basis. Hot tubs can go wrong like anything else. Please note that we do not consider the unavailability of a hot tub to be sufficient reason for cancelling your stay. We are also unable to refund if the hot tub should not be available during your stay. Having said that our hot tubs are well looked after and hopefully there will be no problems.
