Adelaide Foothills, modern self contained flat
A self contained flat set in the foothills of the Adelaide Hills. Nearby are two supermarkets at the Mitcham shopping centre and a number of gourmet cafes. Drive 15mins or catch a bus to the Central Market or CBD. Walk 5 minutes to The Ed, a pub with one of the best gardens in Adelaide and an excellent menu then continue and walk along the beautiful Brownhill Creek. Along here we often see koala bears or walk up the hill for some more strenuous exercise and a spectacular view over Adelaide. The flat is in a separated part of our large house and is newly renovated and furnished with modern furniture. It has it's own entrance and off street parking and guests do not interact at all with the rest of the house. The lounge room has a kitchenette in the corner with a microwave, an induction cooktop, a fridge and a washing machine. Off of this room is the bathroom one side and the bedroom the other. The bedroom has a queen sized bed with a trundle bed underneath, a built in wardrobe and a desk in the corner. Guests have a lounge/ sitting room with a couch and a TV on the wall. It is a smart TV with Netflix, Iview and SBS on demand. There also a table and chairs in this room. The kitchenette is in the corner with a sink, cooktop, microwave, fridge and a washing machine. The bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin has a door off the loungeroom. The bedroom has a queensize bed, a study desk and a built-in wardrobe . We will be available during most school holidays (we are both teachers) and after about 5pm each day. We can usually be contacted via the phone at other times. The flat is in the quiet south eastern corner of Adelaide. It is a beautiful neighbourhood with many large trees including jacarandas. You can walk .5km to the Edinburgh Hotel which has a lively beer garden and great food. There are also a number of coffee shops and a restaurants nearby. There are also many walking tracks in and around Brownhill Creek.
