Sundancer, on the ground floor, has been fitted out to the highest of standards. Set in a superb position, it overlooks countryside and sea vistas which can be enjoyed from the living area with bi-fold doors or from the comfort of the copper spa bath. You can often watch the sun setting over the various bays of Bude, it therefore seemed apt to name the apartment, Sundancer. The open plan bedroom has a Canadian pine, super-king size bed with a memory foam mattress. The small bathroom has a walk-in rainfall shower. Super soft, fluffy towels and locally made herbal infused toiletries are included. Sundancer is atmospherically lit, creating a romantic setting for couples to unwind and relax. The apartment has a contemporary feel and the sitting area has a cosy sofa, 50" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR TV with Blu-Ray/DVD player and a Soundbar. Relax in the free-standing copper spa bath located in the dedicated orangery, the bath has a glistening nickel interior and patina copper finish which has been meticulously hand finished by master craftsmen at the world’s leading specialist manufacturer of copper baths. LOCAL AREA (POPULAR VILLAGES/TOWNS, WALKS AND BEACHES) The Atlantic coast of North Cornwall stretches over forty miles where you can explore a variety of towns and villages such as Boscastle and Tintagel (25 mins drive), Port Isaac (40 mins drive), Padstow and Rock (50 mins drive). There are a range of seven beaches all within seven miles of Wooldown Holiday Cottages. From secluded, hidden coves, perfect for couples to enjoy a picnic while watching the sunset to the popular surfing beaches such as Widemouth Bay, Sandymouth and Crooklets (all within three miles). Why not take a stroll from the apartment through the village of Marhamchurch (5 mins walk) and then along the level towpath following the Canal with a chance of seeing some Otters and Kingfishers, from Helebridge to the town of Bude (2 miles). This walk can be extended to cover the coastal walk (part of the South West Coast Path) from Compass Point towards Widemouth Bay and back to Helebridge, Marhamchurch, pop into the nearby bistro and coffee house (The Weir) for a well earned treat! The South West Coast Path National Trail (630 miles of superb coastline) which is one of the top walks to be found anywhere in the world. FOOD & DRINK (INCLUDING MEAL DELIVERY) Big-name chefs and independent start-ups have helped the North Cornwall area to become the hub of Cornwall's stand-out restaurants, offering top quality, locally sourced food. There are a wide variety of places to eat in and around Bude (all within a 10 minutes drive). Breakfast can be enjoyed at 'The Weir' (served each day until 12 noon) just a few minutes drive away. Pizza's can be ordered from 'La Bocca' for authentic Napolitan pizzas to your apartment at Wooldown and take advantage of our NEW! DRINKS ORDERING SERVICE. We now offer a selection of local wines, beers, spirits and mixers that you can either pre-order or order for delivery direct to the apartment's door during your stay. Great to go with pizza if you are eating in! Just ask for further details. A car is recommended, although a taxi into the town of Bude (2-3 miles) usually costs around £10. There is also a bus service from the village of Marhamchurch - although not regular. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, a double electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Access to a tumble dryer is nearby, next to the Pamper Room. The bi-fold doors open to the patio area with countryside and sea views. A freestanding charcoal BBQ is available on request. There is parking nearby.
