The Pool House

The Pool House is a contemporary spacious, private, hideaway, perfect for a romantic getaway or just a stay to explore the surrounding area. Styled with a shabby chic vibe. THE SPACE IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR TWO ADULTS & TWO CHILDREN AGE 12 AND UNDER NEW FROM MARCH 22, A LUXURY HOT TUB SPA IS NOW AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND. PLEASE NOTE THE POOL & POOL AREA IS CLOSED FROM OCTOBER TO THE 29th OF APRIL 22 Set behind private, electric, gates and within the grounds of a large converted barn, The Pool House is completely self contained, it has a king size bed, with a very comfortable Emma mattress. A dining table and 4 chairs, a comfortable sofa bed for extra accommodation, for children, a dressing table and mirror, with a hair dryer in the drawer. A dressing mirror with a hanging rail. It has heating and air conditioning. The wide screen smart television can be used to watch channels with your own login details, via the WiFi. Also you will have use of a blue tooth speaker, and a Pure digital radio. The space has a door leading to a kitchenette, with a fridge freezer, a James Martin electric table top grill, that will cook bacon, eggs, sausages, chicken breast, salmon, vegetables, etc, a microwave oven, grill. Toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetière, slow cooker, crockery, cutlery, water & wine glasses. Complimentary tea, milk & coffee pods, sugar, salt & pepper. Separate door leading to the WC. Walk through doorway leading to the stunning shower room with complimentary use of premium, toiletries. Finally a door leading out to the swimming pool area, which has its own large cushioned seating area. It has a bar area with stools and a table and chairs. Sun loungers and various floats. THIS DOOR WILL BE LOCKED FROM OCTOBER TO APRIL. The owner cannot accept any liability for using the pool area. Guests use it entirely at their own risk! Extras Breakfast can be arranged by prior arrangement with the host who offers a Continental or a full English breakfast, for an additional cost. We can also provide delicious sharing boards. Special occasions can be catered for, by prior arrangement. Check in anytime after 3pm Check out by 11am Early and late check in available at small extra charge. Access to the Pool house can be gained by a key safe next to the entrance gates, which will contain a gate fob and keys to the Pool House. The host lives on site and will be available for any help or advice. The pool house is completely self contained, set in a private area away from the main house. It has security lighting around the building, with secure parking adjacent to the property. Guests will have access to their own outdoor area with a table and chairs, fire pit and barbecue, with far reaching views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. The hosts horses use the paddock next to the Pool House. From the beginning of May to the end of September guests will have direct access, from the kitchenette to the heated swimming pool. The pool will have shared access with the hosts, at separate times. The host is very flexible arranging private access. The hosts own garden sides on to the pool area, but the hot tub and bar area does have partial natural screening and is not overlooked from the hosts house. However the pool seating area can be seen from the hosts house as shown in the photos of the pool seating area. Please note the pool is not suitable for anyone unable to swim, with the exception of babes in arms! Towels are provided but please bring your own swimming towels? No glass is allowed in the pool area, but plastic glasses will be provided. We are animal lovers and have 5 dogs and 3 horses and 2 miniature Shetland ponies on site. They love fuss and attention. Please be aware that horses may walk past from 8.30am when they are taken out riding. Also the dogs can be vocal at times, but they are quiet most of the time. One well behaved dog is allowed, (possibly two, but please request first, subject to size?) but strictly dogs are not allowed on the furniture, or bed, please! Dogs must also be kept on a lead in the pool area, and the open area outside of The Pool house, because of the horses! Please be mindful that staying within the vicinity of horses, dogs and farm animals, there are associated noises of being in the countryside! It has a village pub and and a Church. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and there is lots to explore locally. We are 15 minutes drive to the centre of Milton Keynes. 10 minutes from Bletchley park. 10 minutes to Woburn Golf club, 30 minutes to Silverstone race circuit. 20 minutes to Waddesdon Manor, Stowe. There is a daily bus service into Milton Keynes. This is not a commuter friendly service, so ideally you will need a car! The neighbourhood, There are some lovely walks from the Pool house, across the beautiful surrounding countryside. About 5 mins drive away, we have an Asda supermarket in nearby Newton Leys. Next to Asda is a fish and chip shop, a Chinese takeaway, and a Domino’s pizza delivery shop. There are also Indian restaurants that deliver as well. Please note that the pool and the pool area, will be closed from October to May!
