Located in beautiful Southern West Virginia, at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, Gene H. Yamagata Lodging offers the comfort of resort-style rooms in a boutique hotel atmosphere that is close to the action, while maintaining a feeling of privacy and the ability for guests to kick back and relax. Spacious rooms that combine comfort and functionality with 2 queen-size beds. The Lodge is located at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, an expansive 10,000 acre adventure center. Guests will enter through our South Gate located on Jack Furst Drive. Upon arrival at the Summit, the lodge is a short drive from the entrance and limited parking is available at the lodge. The Summit Bechtel Reserve is located approximately 15 minutes from the New River Gorge National Park and is within an hour drive from several other State and National Parks such as Grandview and Babcock State Park. Several whitewater rafting outfitters are within 30 minutes. The charming town of Fayetteville is just a short drive away and has several craft breweries and unique dining experiences.
