I am always personally present when you arrive at the Villa. Rucphen is a cosy village surrounded by beautiful nature reserves such as the Pannenhoef, the old Buisse Heide, De Moeren and the Rucphen forest and heathland. There are beautiful walking and cycling routes here. The Ruchpense forests are also known for the beautiful mountain bike trails. The Heemtuin is definitely worth a visit. You can go 'winter sports' at SnowWorld or enjoy a day of shopping in cities like Breda, Roosendaal, Etten-Leur or Bergen op Zoom. From Essen in Belgium you can take the slow train to Antwerp. From the nearby Breda Airport you can book sightseeing flights or go parachuting. Also visit the Botanical Garden Arboretum or the beautiful Basilica in nearby Oudenbosch.
