Beautiful garden flat overlooking Strathaven Park

This spacious basement flat has a gorgeous outlook, with patio doors out to the picturesque garden overlooking Strathaven Park, which has won numerous awards. The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The living room features a large double sofa bed and there are several pleasing touches such as electric blanket on the kingsize bed and bedside lamps with USB sockets. Large BBQ hut in garden is available to rent at £20 per day (seats 8). The living room and bedroom are both large and airy, and the whole flat has been recently renovated (including new bathroom with separate shower, heated mirror and storage cabinets). The kitchen is very compact, but should have everything that you need to rustle up tasty meals. There is an electric hob, combi microwave (grill and oven functions) and mini dishwasher. Immediately outside the flat, and just inside the back door, you will have use of the utility room which has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The flat is very fresh and clean, and a great base from which to venture out to the rest of Central Scotland. You can leave your car at the property and easily walk to everything in Strathaven (lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants). Strathaven is 15 minutes from the nearest train line, with easy access to Glasgow from Larkhall station. Strathaven itself has a host of amenities such as the park with miniature railway, outdoor gym, children's play areas, tennis courts, bowling green. The swimming pool is approximately 4 mins' walk away. I tend to keep out of guests' way so that you have complete privacy during your stay, however if you need me then just message me. Strathaven is an attractive and busy market town with numerous cafés, restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy. The flat is right next to award-winning Strathaven Park which has a boating pond (with kayaks, pedalos and rowing boats to rent in peak season), a bowling green, 2 children's play areas, a putting green, tennis courts, café, miniature railway (Scotland's oldest) and outdoor gym. Strathaven town centre is a 2 or 3 minute walk away from the property. There is parking right in the centre of the town. If you wish to venture further afield to the city of Glasgow then you can park and ride from Larkhall train station, which is a 15 minute drive away. Trains run every 30 minutes and take 38 mins to Glasgow Central station. Please note that the one peculiarity about the flat is the access to it once you've parked. You can park outside the property in the large private driveway, but to access the flat you need to go around the side of the building and down 12 steps to get to the back door, which is your access point to the flat.
