Private Woods Tent Camp on Horse Farm

This is a completley private rustic campsite that sits in the middle of 30 acres of woods on our farm. It is a short walk from the trailhead (500~), has a fire ring, small table, two benches and a mulched area to pitch a tent. There is a porta-potty and potable water in the barn. We do help our guests take heavy items to the site via ATV when we are available. We also offer two experiences on AirBnB, a guided horseback trail ride and a private farm experience. Please feel free to message us. There are trails to explore throughout the property that are abundant with wildlife and fauna. The campsite is quiet and secluded, shaded with plenty of hammock trees. It is large with two possible tent sites. Being on the edge of the Irish Hills, we are very close to many lakes, rivers and parks. As well as, only a 45 minute drive from Ann Arbor and 90 minutes to Detroit. The “Irish Hills” is one of the most beautiful areas in southern Michigan and is well worth exploring. We are happy to help our guests in any way that we can. Anywhere except the barns (unless you have permission), the animal paddocks, the alfalfa fields (trails follow the perimeter) or the space directly in front of our house. We keep to ourselves however are available by message most of the time and enjoy interacting with our guests. We are only 5 minutes to the nearest grocery store yet have the feeling of being isolated. We have five friendly dogs and one pig on the property.
