Above the village stands Dun Dearduil an Iron Age hill fort, or one of the well marked trails will lead to the Falls of Foyers and Loch Ness viewpoint. Places of interest include Urquhart Castle, Culloden Battlefield, the Caledonian Canal and Fort George. Inverness, Fort Augustus, Fort William and Aviemore are easily accessible.
