My place is close to great views, the beach, and family-friendly activities. Enjoy coffee or wine on the deck overlooking the water. It is very quiet, giving it a great ambiance. It is out of the way and rural, but very close to two state parks. With one double bed, my place is good for couples, solo adventurers. This room does not have a closet, but does have a dresser. The kitchen is available. I have two cats amd a dog (Dachshund), so my house is pet friendly. This space has a pillow top double bed and a dresser for your personal belongings. There is a wardrobe to hang your belongings and for storage (closet not available). You have your own Keurig machine, hot water kettle in the room and I provide the coffee pods for you with sweetener (mini-fridge is available for your own creamer). The bathroom may be shared with other guest, or you may have it to yourself if there are no other bookings. The location is in rural Pierce County near parks and waterfront access; please check the map to see where the property is located 😊 You have access to the kitchen, the living room, and the outside deck. There is access to the water, so if you have kayaks, you can launch from my property at high tide. You may walk the tidelands, but note that tidelands beyond mine are all private property. There are two parks (Penrose and Joemma) nearby for public recreational access at a rate charged by the state of Washington. There is also a hot tub with a water view. I have an other room available for guests, so you may meet others visiting here from other places! I've lived here for 12 years and know the area very well. Please note that there is no public transportation from the Key Peninsula to Purdy; from Purdy there is bus access to Port Orchard, Gig Harbor, and Tacoma. The bus hub in Purdy is 14 miles away. I do live here and am home often, but hope you can make the space feel like your own. This neighborhood is definitely rural in nature. What makes it unique here is the water access. My house has beach access (here in western Washington, the overwhelming majority of beaches are rock, not sand), beautiful sunrises, and pleasant cool evenings can be spent on the deck. There is no public transportation except from Purdy, which is 14 miles away. There is a local Uber/Lyft driver, but I am unaware of his rates. It is best for guests to have a car. There is plenty of parking here. I have an old dachshund dog, but she spends most of her time with me. Two cats live here: one is a senior but the other will make himself scarce. If there is something you need, please let me know and I'll try to help!
