WESTERN COWBOY TENT... banks of the Medina River

Relax by Sheep Springs on the Medina River in this private glamping spot for two. Seven acres on the Medina River, family owned since 1956..majestic cypress trees. gorgeous views as the sun sets across the river. This Western Cowboy tent will rejuvenate you. Relax listening to the running water; enjoy the night sounds of nature. Your tent is less than 20 yards from the water and you have the area all to yourself. A previous guest called it "serenity by the river." You'll be glad you came! Sheep Springs is located on the east end of Medina, just at the edge of town. The tents are located in the river bottom, near the water. You'll be 2 minutes from everything Medina has to offer, but you will feel entirely secluded. If you forget any of your necessities, your hostess will probably be able to help out. Just come to the house and knock on the door. You will be able to drive right to your tent. There's a parking space for each tent. Please stay on the indicated "roads". Don't get off into the gravel (could possibly damage you vehicle and/or not be able to get out of the gravel). The little town of Medina is within walking distance, about 3 blocks, away. The port-a-potty, with potable water, is located near the tents. The "Outhouse", complete with shower, is up the hill.. Medina, known as the Apple Capital of Texas, is a small, unincorporated town in the central part of Bandera County. It has an area population of around 2500. It is approximately 60 miles northwest of San Antonio, 25 miles south of Kerrville, and 13 miles west of Bandera. At Sheep Springs, you are only blocks away from "downtown" Medina, so you can easily walk or drive to Medina's stores and eating establishments.
