Christ's College, Cambridge - Twin Ensuite Room

This is the opportunity for the public to stay in a student room at one of the University of Cambridge's Colleges - Christ's College. The rooms are occupied by students in term time and are open for bookings during the bed and breakfast season in the vacations. The rooms are clean and tidy but do not offer all of the "hotel" extras - there are no TV's, room service is not available, there is no AC - but this is a chance to stay in a Cambridge College, so maybe worth doing without a TV? The single rooms have one single bed for one person - it is not possible to add extra beds in these rooms. Unfortunately the College cannot accommodate any guests who are under the age of 18 years. Please note there are no parking facilities at the College for guests. The College is only open for reduced periods during the year - a week or two in December, three weeks at Easter and about three months in the summer. Outside of these times, the College rooms are not available. Christ's College is in the heart of the city centre of Cambridge - walking distance of the local attractions of the city, shops, restaurants, museums, local parks and the river Cam. Cambridge train station (CBG) is 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes in a taxi. Cambridge bus station (Drummer Street) is behind the College so less than 5 minutes walk. There is a taxi rank outside the front of the College. Christ's College is in the center of Cambridge so many amenities and sights are just a couple of minutes walk away. Please note there is no parking at the College for guests - guests should use either the Park and Ride or one of the city center public car parks. Please check in at the Porters Lodge when you arrive at the College. The Porters will ask you to complete a guest registration form and will give you the room key and a map of the College. As Christ's College is an institution for learning (many students and Fellows still reside and work here), we ask all guests to be respectful of the surroundings and not disturb other residents.
