Lovely maisonette in the heart of Whitley Bay

Lovely 2 bedroom maisonette situated in the heart of Whitley Bay on the beautiful Park View amid all its vibrant bars and restaurants and there's even a small private cinema near by - described by the Times as one of the UK's top 10 high streets. Whitley Bay is famous for its Spanish City as well as its lighthouse - there is so much more to explore from the accommodation. It is a short metro to Newcastle and the perfect starting point for discovering Northumberland which has so much to offer. The space itself is a lovely 2 bedroomed, first and second floor maisonette with its own private entrance. It has all mod cons including downstairs; a lovely open plan dining living room, a well equipped bright kitchen with all of the amenities you'd have at home. In the living area there is also a single sofa bed which can be made up if requested. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs on the second floor, one with a double bed plus a single fold down bed that will be made up if requested, and one with a king size bed. There is a shower room with toilet on this upper floor too. The large open plan living room/dining room looks out onto Park View and all its great shops - and is perfect for people watching!. There is a dining space for at least 6 people, a bed settee as well as a lovely comfy sofa and TV area. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need at home - it used to be our home and we have kept it as homely as possible. There is an outside space for bike storage etc and in the summer outdoor furniture. We also have for your use a parking permit for the surrounding streets - these are like gold dust though and must be left at the property as you leave! We have tried to equip the place with everything you would need on a holiday including, some games and toys, good wifi and the kitchen utensils we could think of! We also have for your use a baby travel cot and high chair (please request these if you need them) and plenty of linen and towels. We have a parking permit for the local streets - being in the centre of town parking is sought after. We are also withing a few minutes walk to 2 metro stations and all the local buses. Guests are able to let themselves in via a key box. We live within half an hour in the unlikely event of any problems and will always do our best to help make sure you have a perfect stay. The maisonette is situated within easy walking distance of the sea and beach, St Mary's lighthouse, Spanish City and is surrounded by all of the wonderful bars and restaurants you could ask for! We have 2 metro stations within walking distance (about 5 and 10 minutes) which will take you to Tynemouth in about 5 minutes and Newcastle in half an hour. There is the Jamjar cinema and lounge bar showing all of the up to date films, we are across the street from a lovely butchers - Nicholsons and above Pure Knead with cakes and breads to die for! The reason Whitley Bay has become so popular is because of all of the independent shops and restaurants that it boasts and we are right in the centre of it all! There are 2 metro stations with easy access to Newcastle within a 5 and 10 minute walk from the maisonette which will take you to Tynemouth in around 5 minutes and Newcastle within half an hour, as well as numerous buses. As well as Newcastle, Whitley Bay is a perfect starting point to explore the beautiful, stunning Northumberland. We have a parking permit for 1 car around the local streets (which must be left at the end of your stay as they are like gold dust here!) There is also free parking a few minutes walk away if you arrive in 2 cars. There are numerous walks and cycle paths in the area both along the coast and going inland a bit. It really is a perfect place for a break! We are few minutes walk to the beach, the metros and literally in the middle of all the great independent shops, bars and restaurants on Park View - you really will be in the middle of it all. A perfect spot in Whitley Bay and a great base for exploring Northumberland which has so much to offer.
