Enjoy a stay in our newly refurbished, attractive double bedroom, with king sized bed, kitchenette and shower room. Relax in the tub chair and read, or enjoy the Smart TV as you unwind in the evening. This triple aspect room is bright and cheery; an ideal base for couples or individuals exploring North Norfolk. The stunning coastline is within a 30 minute drive, The Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Steam Museum and Wedding Venue is 15 minutes away and Pensthorpe Natural Park is just 10. The private entrance at the front of our house takes you into the spacious lobby, where you can leave shoes and coats. Turn left passed the shower room to reach your bedroom. In the bedroom the Smart TV is wall mounted opposite the bed, the small table and 2 chairs sit by a window and offer ideal dining. There is a cosy tub chair for when you wish to relax. The room has triple aspect and receives good natural light. There is a cupboard with shelves and a small hanging rail and a hairdryer is provided. Bedside tables both have drawers and a small lamp. The small kitchenette within the room includes a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and is well stocked with crockery. There is some space to put your food items. Breakfast is not provided; this is room only, however tea and coffee are available. The shower room includes a toilet, with a grab rail to its' left, an electric towel rail, a shower with a drench head and standard head, as well as a sink. Below the sink there are two drawers and above there is a small cabinet with mirror. A non slip shower mat is available. The whole area has underfloor heating throughout, which is controlled with a digital thermostat. All the windows have blinds. There is an allocated parking spot for one car on our drive way. Your private entrance at the front means that you can come and go as you please. We live in a village location. We live in the main house and there is a lockable door separating this to the the guest area. Guests have their own entrance at the front of the house. We are close by and very happy to assist with any enquiries and help with local information. We will also respect your privacy. Great Ryburgh is a friendly village, located in the Wensum Valley. We have a well stocked shop and post office, just a 10 minute walk from our house, as well as a fish and chip shop and a pub both 15 minutes by foot. There are plenty of scenic countryside walks within the village itself. Great Ryburgh is 10 minutes from the historic market town of Fakenham, with Holt and Burnham Market within a 25 minute drive. It is an ideal spot from which to explore North Norfolk, with its beautiful, sandy beaches, natural beauty and thriving bird life. Cley and Titchwell bird reserves are half an hour away. Pensthorpe Natural Park is 10 minutes from ours. There are historic houses and stately homes nearby and the city of Norwich is a 40 minute drive away. The village of Thursford is less than 15 minutes by car and is famous for its Christmas Spectacular in the wintertime. It is also a Steam Museum and Wedding venue. The Norfolk Broads are within a 60 minute drive to the East and Snetterton Circuit it within a 60 minute drive to the South. The bus service is infrequent and so a car is the ideal way to get about and explore all North Norfolk has to offer. The coastal bus service (the CoastLiner) is accessible from Fakenham, a ten minute drive from ours. Please kindly remove shoes and coats and leave them in the lobby space, thank you. This is our family home and we ask guests to kindly respect this. Our home is non-smoking and non- vaping. As an alternative to candles we provide battery operated ones for your use. We provide basic cleaning items and ask guests to leave the accommodation as they find it. Thank you. There is currently no outside space.
